Research and Development comprises three types of activity - basic research, applied research and development. On average about 70% of the funded projects that we receive advance to the applied research and development stage which is the bridge between science and business.
The majority of our aerospace R&D relates to aircraft, spacecraft, missiles and component parts of the systems. A significant portion of the aerospace R&D is federally funded, with the Department of Defense (DoD) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) supporting most of the work.
We are interested in teaming with universities, business and not-for-profit organizations in the following research and development areas including: biotechnology; nanotechnology; pharmaceutical; chemical and materials science; electronics; aerospace; and automotive.
Please review the contract types available (SBIR, STTR, Grants) that we could potential team on and then contact us.
